라이트 하우스 프로젝트는
말 그대로 빛과 쉼터를 상징합니다.
이 프로젝트를 통해 작은 빛이 흘러나가,
어두운 공간들에 희망이라는
불을 켤 수 있기를 바랍니다.
어두운 누군가의 마음에
봉사라는 빛이 작게나마 자리 잡아,
공감(empathy)이라는
감정의 방에 불이 켜지기를 기도합니다.
본 후원을 위하여 제작된 도서는 총 320권이고,
현재까지 48권이 판매되었으며
잔여 도서는 272권입니다.

오호라 라이트하우스 프로젝트
2017년, 한 기사를 통해 저는 마음 깊이 강한 울림을 경험했습니다.
“누군가에게 빛이 되는 공간을 제공하는 사람이 되어야겠다.”
그 작은 불씨는 제 마음속에서 오랫동안 따뜻하게 머물렀고,
마침내 형태를 갖추어 오늘, 라이트하우스 프로젝트로 현실이 되었습니다.
오호라 드림센터(O!Hora Dream Center)는
아이들이 스스로의 꿈을 만들고, 다듬고, 조형해 나가는 곳입니다.
아이들의 생각과 상상, 그리고 이야기는
하나의 작품이 되어 각자의 미래를 밝히는 씨앗이 됩니다.
오호라는 단순한 영어학원이 아닙니다.
저희의 사명은 아이들이 잠재력을 발견하고, 꿈을 확장하며,
언젠가 누군가에게 빛이 될 수 있는 사람으로 성장하도록 이끄는 데 있습니다.
라이트하우스 프로젝트는 그 비전을 실현하는 첫 번째 상징적 걸음입니다.
라이트하우스는 오호라의 모든 브랜치가 함께 참여하는
나눔의 플랫폼입니다.
오호라가 가진 꿈과 사랑을 세상에 흘려보내며,
제가 오래 전부터 품어온
“빛이 머무는 공간, 누군가에게 희망이 되는 손길”이라는 꿈을 실천하는 자리입니다.
이번 겨울,
저희 학생들은 첫 번째 라이트하우스프로젝트로 동화책을 만들었습니다.
아이들이 쓴 이야기는 누군가의 겨울을 따뜻하게 밝히는 작은 빛이 될 것입니다.
책 판매 수익은 베이비박스 미혼모를 위한 베이비케어키트와 위기영아일시보호소에 전액 전달됩니다.
이 뜻깊은 시작에 여러분을 초대합니다.
아이들이 쓴 이야기가 여러분의 계절에 작은 빛을 더해드리고,

In 2017, a single article sparked a powerful conviction in me:
to become someone who provides a place of light for others.
That small flame stayed in my heart for years until it finally took shape—
and today, it becomes reality as we officially launch the Lighthouse Project.
The O!Hora Dream Center is where children create and shape their dreams.
Their ideas, imagination, and stories grow into meaningful work,
becoming seeds that illuminate their own future.
O!Hora is more than an English academy.
Our mission is to guide children to discover their potential, expand their dreams,
and eventually become a source of light for others.
The Lighthouse Project represents the first symbolic step in bringing that vision to life.
Lighthouse is O!Hora’s platform for giving back—together with every branch.
It is where our dreams and love are shared with the world,
fulfilling a long-held dream of offering
“a place filled with light, a helping hand that becomes someone’s hope.”
This winter,
our students created the very first Lighthouse storybook.
Every word is written by the children themselves,
and their stories will shine warmth into someone’s winter.
All proceeds from the book will support shelters for single mothers and infants.
