FRAMEWORK
The four dimensions → one WEI
Scores combine into a single Writing Excellence Index (WEI) to track growth over time across grades.
1) Productivity (Fluency)
Words per Minute (WPM), time‑bound fluency, normalized by grade and mode (handwriting/typing).
Why it matters: writing stamina & pace relate to output capacity.
2) Structure
Organization, coherence, paragraphing, transitions, and logical flow.
Why it matters: ideas should be navigable.
3) Content
Quality of ideas, relevance, use of evidence/examples, depth of explanation.
Why it matters: strong reasoning beats length alone.
4) Mechanics
Grammar, spelling, vocabulary precision, sentence variety, punctuation.
Why it matters: clarity and correctness enable trust.
